The Trump reelection campaign is appealing for "patience" as it investigates reports of irregular votes in the 2020 presidential election. White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who said she was speaking in her private capacity as an advisor to the Trump campaign, told reporters: "What we are asking here for is patience." McEnany cited more than 130 affidavits filed in Michigan alone, as an example of the irregularities. She also said there were reports of thousands of votes cast in Nevada from people who were not eligible. "We are hearing these reports, we are seeing them come in. We are vetting them. ... But what we're asking for right now is patience as we explore these equal protection claims." Donald Trump has yet to concede the race to his Democratic rival Joe Biden and is continuing to baselessly dispute the results even though there is no evidence of widespread fraud.
