Governor Kate Brown held a press conference Friday at 1 p.m. to discuss Oregon’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19. She was joined by representatives from the Oregon Health Authority. She announced a two-week “pause” on social activities in at least five Oregon counties as part of a renewed push to slow coronavirus spread, warning that more severe restrictions may be needed without progress. The pause goes into effect Wednesday and will run through the day before Thanksgiving.
