Guatemala Hit With Disastrous Flooding from Tropical Storm Eta
Water poured over a bridge across the Jupilingo River in Camotan, Guatemala, on November 5, after storm Eta dumped inches of rain on the country.
Guatemalan police closed the bridge, they announced on November 5.
At least four people have died in the country due to the rains brought by storm Eta, according to local media.
The National Hurricane Center issued an advisory warning that rains from Eta will lead to “catastrophic and life-threatening flash flooding and river flooding across portions of Central America.”
