Abortion rights supporters and anti-abortion advocates demonstrate in front of the the Supreme Court during the 47th annual March for Life on Jan. 24 in Washington, D.C. in decades on the controversial subject of abortion. Abortion rights were on the ballot in two states on Election Day, and the results went in opposite directions. In Louisiana, voters approved a measure that will amend the state’s constitution to read that it does not guarantee the right to abortion or the right to funding for abortions.
