President Donald Trump weighed in on the revelation that Miles Taylor, a former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security, is "Anonymous," during a rally in Arizona on Wednesday. Taylor revealed himself to be the senior White House administration official known as "Anonymous" who wrote a scathing New York Times op-ed about Trump and a subsequent book, "A Warning." As "Anonymous," he claimed to be part of a "resistance" working "from within" to thwart Trump's "worst inclinations." "He should be prosecuted," Trump said, to cheers of "drain the swamp." Taylor has been an outspoken critic of Trump's in recent months and has a contributor contract on CNN. Campaign spokesperson Hogan Gidley says he worked with DHS officials during his tenure at the White House and "even I had to research who Miles Taylor was." Hogan points out that Taylor lied to Anderson Cooper on CNN in August when he denied being "Anonymous." Trump also brought Nigel Farage, the self-declared "pantomime villain" of Brexit, on stage. "I'm noncontroversial and shy compared to you," Farage said to Trump on stage. "This is he single most resilient and bravest person I have ever met in my life," he said of Trump.
