The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) captured a time-lapse of the sunrise and Hurricane Laura's cloud formations on Tuesday (August 25) from their aircraft. Laura is expected to rapidly strengthen to a Category 4 hurricane on a steady track to hit the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast after dark on Wednesday, causing catastrophic damage, the National Hurricane Center said.
