Giant king tides and foul weather produced tumultuous waves dozens of feet high that smashed the Oregon and southwest Washington Coast Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020. The weather attracted storm chasers and photographers. Storm viewers stood through sheets of heavy rain to watch waves crash and beat the shorelines. The stormy weather and heavy surf are expected to continue Sunday. The National Weather Surface warns people to be extra vigilant along the coast. The videos were taken from Cannon Beach in Oregon and Waikiki Beach on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington.
