▶️ Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took selfies and shook the hands of supporters inside a metro station in Montreal, Tuesday, October 22. 👉 Trudeau won a second term in Canada's national elections early Tuesday morning, as his Liberal Party claimed victory with enough seats to remain the ruling party. Although the Liberal Party took the most seats in Parliament, it fell short of a majority, so the Liberals will need to rely on the opposition party to pass legislation. The 47-year-old Trudeau, the son of the late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, won a definitive parliamentary majority in 2015, leading the first Liberal government in 10 years. Trudeau's 2019 bid for a second term was threatened by a handful of scandals, however, both personal and political in nature. At least three photographs of Trudeau in blackface and brown face from the 1990s and early 2000s surfaced just weeks ahead of the vote.
