World’s longest commercial flight lands in Sydney after 19 hours in the air | ABC News
The world's longest commercial flight from New York to Sydney landed this morning after 19 hours in the air.
The Qantas flight is one of three being trialled this year.
Forty passengers, including crew, were fitted with technology devices to test their wellbeing during the 16,000 kilometre flight.
Qantas boss Alan Joyce says the data will form part of the airline's business case for regular long-haul flights.
