Donald Trump calls off Taliban meet after US soldier dies in Kabul attack
President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, called off a meeting with Taliban, planned secretly and slated to be held in the US. Trump made the announcement via Twitter. He also said that he had 'called off peace negotiations' with the group. He cited the death of a US soldier, along with 11 others, in a recent terror attack in Kabul. US and Taliban were apparently on the brink of a deal, with US representative Zalmay Khalilzad stating that an agreement had been reached in principle.
