Remaining adamant for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe, Congress’ senior leaders Shashi Tharoor and Kapil Sibal said that the way in which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had asked for a JPC in 2G spectrum scam, the same way we are asking for it in the Rafale deal now. “The verdict of the Supreme Court is a validation of what the Congress party stated months ago that the Supreme Court is not the forum to decide such sensitive defence contracts,” Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said.
